Postpartum hair loss, brittle teeth, and bone aches: Anyone else dealing with this?

I am still currently breastfeeding, and my hair loss has become absolutely dreadful; to make matters worse, my stylist suggested that things will only take a turn for the worse once I finally wean😲

I guess I have some hair issues too, though honestly, I had so much hair both before and during my pregnancy. It’s not like I lost a ton, but I decided to give it a trim anyway—partly because of the thinning and partly just because I wanted a change. Now I'm just letting it grow out and seeing how it goes. My sister, on the other hand, never really got her thickness back after having her baby.

Count me in for this. I’ve got two little ones, ages 19 months and 3 months, and I’m breastfeeding both of them. Honestly, looking back at my three pregnancies, the hair loss happens regardless of whether I nurse or not, so in my case, it doesn't seem to be linked to breastfeeding itself. It feels like my whole body is just aching from head to toe 😁; my tailbone has been absolutely killing me since my last delivery, my hands keep going numb, my vision feels a bit off, my nails are brittle, and I’m dealing with breakouts. I haven't seen any significant weight changes yet, and my teeth are holding up okay enough 😁, but really, I’m feeling pretty much the same as any other exhausted mom out there...
After my last pregnancy, my son actually thought I had some kind of serious illness because there was hair everywhere—especially clogging up the brush in the bathroom. Poor kid was genuinely terrified seeing it all 😢

During my pregnancy, my nails got super strong and my hair started growing way faster (it’s short anyway, so at least it isn't thinning out, which would be a nightmare for my hair appointments)🙂but on the flip side, my teeth have become an absolute mess. I haven't had a spare second to actually get to a dentist, so now I'm just sitting here praying nothing falls out😛

Thankfully, my teeth are all still intact 😲, but my hair... good grief. 🤦
It’s shedding everywhere.
I’m not particularly worried about going bald since I have plenty to spare, but finding stray hairs caught between my fingers every now and then is just exhausting. 😠
No matter how much I clean or try to be careful, nothing helps. It's a disaster.
I've been using Dow Chemical products for a while now, but honestly, I haven't seen any real improvement.
When does this finally end? 😳😳😳

It’s falling out everywhere. Just constant.

It usually happens about a year after giving birth...
Sad... I know...

But if it helps, once the shedding stops, your hair bounces back pretty fast...
Especially if you started out with thick hair... then it's really no big deal...

If it helps at all, your hair should return to its normal thickness quite quickly once the shedding period ends.
If you have thick hair, none of this really matters.

It's unlikely they'll choke... it's not like they're licking your hair.
Maybe if they start pulling at it 😍 (well, yeah... count that as extra hair loss 🤣 ) ...but they spit out hair... they aren't cats. 😬

Actually, it happened to my aunt once. Her baby wouldn't stop screaming his head off and they had no clue why until they realized a strand of her hair had wrapped itself so tightly around the poor kid's toe that it turned almost purple... total disaster... could have been fatal...
That's why I check every single toe on mine every morning and night after bath time.

But I definitely find my own hair in my baby's diaper regularly. And what's worse, I check to see if any of my hair fell into the diaper... and it's useless... I just keep finding them here and there...
And then, just when a hair falls right while I'm applying lotion... and it sticks to the cream... ugh, gross.
