Is Full HD still worth it?

I've got about $433 to spend, and I stumbled upon some 22" Full HD monitors, but they only have analog VGA ports

How much does it actually matter if the output is HDMI? Also, any recommendations for decent Full HD monitors with HDMI within that budget?

But honestly, HDMI is king right now. You want that high-def picture—especially if you're picking up an HD monitor, just make sure it has an HDMI port. Assuming your graphics card supports it, obviously. If not? No biggie, there are a million converters out there...

The thing is, I can't find a decent 22-inch monitor for $433 that actually has HDMI. Everything I see just has those old D-sub ports...

What's the big deal? This is just one vendor, and they've got more in stock at procurement anyway... everyone carries DVI...
