I’m honestly curious what was so scandalous about that thread over in the Ladies' Lounge—the one where we were just reminiscing about old dance hits—that it had to be nuked from the forum.
Is it suddenly against the rules to post YouTube links? I highly doubt it, since everyone here links to YouTube constantly without anyone batting an eye.

So, apparently, the topic wasn't "appropriate" for the Ladies' Lounge? Well, why not just move it over to the General Discussion board or some other subforum? I'm sure there’s a place where it would fit just fine.

Could someone please explain? Thanks.

It seems like none of the moderators have actually answered the question regarding what criteria they use to decide whether to delete a thread versus just moving or locking it.
I’m speaking generally here; this specific thread isn't really the point.

I went ahead and deleted the thread. Honestly, when people start making topics that are "related" just to follow me around, I take it as trolling. It’s nothing against the ZKP community, it just feels like someone is being bored or something.

Hannah Davis18 said:When? I suppose I should probably start by saying that my thoughts on this matter have been brewing for quite some time—and frankly, they aren't particularly pleasant. It seems we’ve reached a point where the sheer lack of consistency in how these policies are being applied is becoming impossible to ignore. I mean, if we look at the recent data coming out of Washington, it’s almost laughable how much red tape is being generated just to satisfy a few bureaucratic whims. It isn't just about the inefficiency, though—that's a given—it's more about the underlying principle of the thing. Or rather, the complete absence of one. One might think that after all the debates we've had in the Senate regarding oversight, we would see some semblance of actual progress, but instead, we just get more layers of complexity. It’s exhausting, really. I guess some people find comfort in the chaos, but for those of us actually trying to navigate the system, it feels like running a marathon through knee-deep mud. Maybe I'm being too cynical, but I don't see it any other way. So, you’re the one starting all these threads... I suppose that’s one way to go about it.

A truly iconic way to put it.

Whatever happened to that much-anticipated debate regarding the moderators and the moderation team? I mean, it was all being talked about, but now... nothing. Silence. Just total radio silence. 🙂

So, whatever happened to that big debate everyone was waiting on regarding the mods and the moderation team? 🙂

Of course it’s significant. I mean, I deleted the whole thread myself, so... yeah. yeahAnd that’s on them, I guess. They're taking the risk. And honestly, it’s not just about that one thing either. I’ve been keeping an eye on what Nicholas King is up to, and I mean, it just doesn't make any sense.

This other thing... I honestly have zero clue what we're even talking about.

That still doesn't prove that you were the one who originally posted it.

And just to be clear, my question about the debate wasn't directed at you—my apologies if there was some sort of misunderstanding there.

The whole debate thing wasn't even directed at you, my bad if there was a misunderstanding.

Obviously I didn't start it.
It's not like the topic is too taboo or anything, but starting some random thread about Cassandra and whoever else just feels pointless.

over and out.

I suppose you didn't quite grasp my point—not that it matters much now. I'm giving up on this.

... I just wandered in here while reading something else and wanted to see what the deal was with the Federal Reserve. It seems like you are being told that you didn't actually start this thread unless you own the domain for Reddit, you know? This guy is basically telling you not to confuse yourself with the platform by acting like you are the entire site. 😁
