Alright, so I’ve got a killer PC and a great monitor, but if I want my gaming setup to be actually perfect, I still need a decent mouse and keyboard. Right now, I’m using some random $10 mouse and a keyboard that feels like an old typewriter. I did find a mouse that looks promising, though—can you guys give me your honest take? The price seems almost too good to be true since it’s got 5000 DPI and everything else looks solid based on what I know, plus you even get a mousepad and a 😁 shirt included $133. Here’s the link to the mouse and you can check out all the details right here http://www.speed-link.com/?p=1&s=1&t=1. Also, if anyone has recommendations for a solid gaming keyboard that won't break the bank, please let me know. THANKS IN ADVANCE TO EVERYONE

or maybe this one:

These mice are top-tier for serious gamers... you really have to test them out first. The Imperator works great for medium hands, while Kon is better if you have larger palms, and you also need to consider whether you're right-handed or left-handed. Since they aren't cheap, definitely try them before buying...

As for a keyboard, go with either the Logitech G11 or the Razer Arctos...

So, about this mouse I mentioned earlier—I know it’s not some big-name brand, but honestly, the specs look pretty solid. My hands are a bit on the larger side; I measured from my wrist bone to the tip of my middle finger and hit 8.5 inches. Anyway, what's the actual deal between the Razer Arctos and the Logitech G11? I noticed the G11 is priced way higher, so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the jump. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

Nobody actually said to avoid Speedlink. dustyskipper77 was just pointing out which mice you definitely won't regret buying. Besides, you don't pick gear based on flashy aesthetics or the manufacturer's spec sheet. It takes certain brands decades of experience to actually earn their reputation and the trust of the gaming community...

In the US, Speedlink hasn't really made a dent in the high-end gaming mouse market yet. That doesn't mean they're bad, though. Just Google it—find an independent review, local or overseas, and see what people are actually saying...

Keep in mind, Speedlink is actually a highly respected manufacturer when it comes to networking gear (modems, routers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, powerline adapters...).

I've made my call. I'm going with the Razer Arctos and the Razer Imperator. Honestly, you just can't go wrong with Razer at this point. It feels worth dropping the extra cash since I'm looking to build one massive, long-term setup. Thanks for the help, dustyskipper77 and darkowl72!

You didn't make a mistake, but you should definitely test out the emperor before you buy...
