CCSVI monitoring

Hi everyone,
I’m starting a new thread on a topic we all care about—one that usually sparks some pretty heated debates. Since more and more people have undergone the "liberation" procedure, I thought it would be helpful if those who actually went through it shared their firsthand experiences. To keep things organized, I’m asking anyone who hasn't had the procedure to please refrain from commenting or debating here; let's keep this space strictly for those who have actually completed the treatment. I’m also suggesting a specific template to follow so we can bypass subjective opinions and stick to the raw facts. Pre-procedure therapies: interferon, IVIG, Cortisone, Procarin, vitamins, minerals, acupuncture, Lioresal, Sirdalud, Normabel, etc.

MS symptoms before procedure:
-fatigue,
-left hand clenched shut,
-left arm bent at the elbow,
-spasms, spasms, spasms...
-complete loss of strength in hands and legs,
-unable to walk,

Number of relapses before procedure

EDSS before procedure: 7.5

PROCEDURE

Location and date: Germany, April 22, 2010

Imaging and findings: Contrast CT showed 80% blockage in the left jugular and 40% in the right.

Procedure type: Balloon angioplasty, no stent used.

Post-procedure therapy: none

Symptoms after procedure:
-fatigue disappeared,
-can straighten my arm,
-easier to open my hand,
-regained strength in my hands,
-able to stand for about 15 minutes with support,
-spasms have almost completely vanished.

EDSS after procedure: 7

Nah, no way... we already have a dedicated thread for MS, and there's been one going for a bit regarding CCSVI too... I really don't see the point in having two separate topics covering the exact same ground. Any future experiences or stories should just head over there, so I'm locking this one down right now.
