Long story short, I spotted this guy at the station and he completely floored me, but my train was already pulling away so I had to leave.

It happened at Union Station in Washington, D.C., on Monday around 4 PM. He had long hair with a green headband, wore shorts, and was tall and thin with these incredible greenish-blue eyes. He was hanging out with about four others—they all looked similar, tall and lean, with short blonde hair and blue or green eyes. One guy had a guitar on his back, and another seemed to have a violin or something. Can anyone help me find him? Based on how they looked, I’d guess they were from Sweden, Norway, or maybe Denmark. Does anyone know if there was some kind of gathering in D.C., or anywhere else in the States, where international groups might be visiting or something like that lately?
Please, I need help

It all went down at Union Station in Washington, D.C., on Monday around 4:00 PM. He had this longer hair with a green headband tucked into it, wore shorts, and was tall and lean with these incredible greenish-blue eyes. One guy had a guitar strapped to his back, and another seemed to have a violin or something similar. Can anyone help me out? Please, someone help me out here.

Why even bother being embarrassed?

An old lady passed by with cookies, and since you didn't just walk up to him and grab his number right then and there, now all you can do is sit around and whine.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you anyway🤣?

You acted like some old lady bringing cookies over. If you hadn't just gone straight to him and asked for his number right then, all you can do now is whine.

Can I ask how old you are 🤣?

Go ahead. I'm 20. But honestly, maybe you should actually read my first post; then you'll see why. I just don't have any confidence, and I'm incredibly shy =(

If we're talking about a major transit hub during peak tourist season, you can't really count on luck. People have the freedom to go anywhere (or just head straight back home).🤷

The odds of running into someone like that only exist in romantic comedies; in reality, life tends to lean more toward thrillers, dramas, or—if you're having a particularly bad day—tragedies.

Next time, remember exactly what you missed out on, grit your teeth, and just do it.👍

P.S.: If you didn't meet, it simply wasn't meant to be. It wasn't "the one." Open your eyes and keep looking.👍

The odds of running into someone like that are basically zero outside of some cheesy romantic comedy. Real life is usually more of a thriller, a drama, or even a straight-up tragedy.

Next time, just remember what you missed, grit your teeth, and get it done.👍

P.S.: If you didn't find each other, it wasn't meant to be. It just wasn't it. Open your eyes and move on.👍

Unfortunately, you're right :/
I don't even know what's wrong with me or why I'm so obsessed with this guy. I guess I just have to accept that I won't see him again.

That’s Björn Sjösstrand—the old man's son. I know the guy. He's got feet on the ground, but his hands are always all over the place... you can't really slip one past him.
