Birthmarks are just so ugly, ugh!

Sometimes I seriously feel like just cutting mine out myself!

I keep hearing about people freaking out when a birthmark changes, like they think it’s some huge medical emergency 😕so they rush to a surgeon and drop a ton of cash just to have it removed! 😕

Is it actually bad that I want to just slice my birthmarks off?

What a troll, I’ve got over 750 posts under my belt!

I mean, I don't know, this just feels normal to me!

That's why I'm asking—what's so unhealthy about it?

They're such pests, honestly. If they keep this up, I might just turn into a Dalmatian! But they're so tiny, like, millimeter-sized. I don't have the $6667 to go around and take them all down!

Seriously, some people are just born jerks. If this keeps up, I'm gonna turn into a total psycho! But they're all so small, like tiny little pests. I don't have the $6667energy to take them all out!

Just go see a doctor, God bless you!🙏

What's a doctor even going to do for me? 🤔

I get breakouts whenever I spend too much time out in the sun. Any ideas on how a doctor can actually help with that?

Look, you just can't view moles as something to worry about; it's really not a big deal. 😬
Medically speaking, moles are just small, benign growths. Clusters of pigment. That's the whole story.
Some people just have more of them than others—it’s just how they're built. If you're concerned, go see a dermatologist and let a pro walk you through it. Honestly, that's all anyone here can tell you...

I guess I just get these things out of nowhere, even without any sun exposure or tanning beds, which is kind of wild since both my parents have them despite not having nearly as many as I do. It feels like I have millions of them, so it’s probably just something in my DNA; maybe we just aren't meant to have perfectly clear skin, at least when it comes to moles or whatever. I've actually noticed about 15 new ones popping up on my face just in the last six months, and they're those really flat, tiny ones that blend right in with the skin. If you ever want to get them removed, you really have to see a dermatologist because they need to send them off for testing to make sure they aren't anything malignant that could turn into skin cancer later in life...

If they're on your face, it might be better to talk to a high-end plastic surgeon, since they'll probably try a bit harder to make sure the scarring stays minimal...

They aren't even on my face, they're just on my body. It’s not like they look terrible or anything, but seeing them just drives me crazy—I seriously want to dig them out right then and there! I could always see a dermatologist, but honestly, who has the extra cash to pay for something like that?????

They need to be seeing a psychiatrist, not some dermatologist...

🤦 You should go see a doctor before things get any worse.
Have them give you a full exam and explain your options. If you have good health insurance, great; if not, then we have a bit of a situation since I'm not sure exactly what those out-of-pocket costs look like right now. However, I noticed so many women heading to clinics to get their moles checked while I was in the hospital, and everything turned out perfectly fine for them.
Trying to handle this on your own just risks scarring or even an infection. ☕

I’m honestly taking this as some kind of weird joke, so I’ll just head out without reporting anything. Just a heads-up, maybe don't start these kinds of mindless threads on the main forum next time.
