Hey everyone
My whole town is reeling right now. A young guy attempted suicide and somehow pulled through, and honestly, nobody can wrap their heads around how. Word is he downed a massive amount of pills—I think we're talking over 100 Xanax—and cut his wrists. He barely made it, but he's still here.

Please, keep the mindless comments to yourselves. This is a close friend of mine.

No one understands how he survived or what actually saved him. Does anyone have any insight on this nightmare?

It’s nothing groundbreaking—assuming they actually catch him in time—because there’s an antidote for Normabel, and honestly, cutting your wrists is such a pathetic way to go out anyway; I’ve dealt with plenty of "cutters" in my life and not once did it even work...

I think his parents, family, and closest friends are the only ones who truly know the details.
If they feel like you need to hear it, they'll tell you
but personally, I feel like it's better to focus on living your own life rather than dwelling on such a tragic story here on the forum.
