His name is Rastko... if you’re looking to see his photos, just hit him with a reaction and he'll post them all! As for his last name—I'll let him know you're asking, and we can let the man introduce himself if he feels like it.😉

Look, I don't usually come on here to rant or anything, but after a show like that? It’d be a crime not to say something for everyone who missed out on the magic of that hooded Friday night vibe.
The guys have this insane way of blending stuff that shouldn't even work together. You've got rock infused with these Oriental vibes, all spiked with a heavy death metal edge. It's wild. On one hand, they play these tracks with an Arabic melody that's just hypnotic—it feels almost spiritual, like they're pulling you into another dimension.
Then, on the flip side, they hit you with these massive, crushing parts that feel like an absolute sonic explosion. Seriously, it was so good that at one point I actually thought, "Forget everything else, THIS is the peak."
Btw, there was this girl at the show in a green dress, super cute... if I weren't such a coward, I would've gone up to her, and man, things would've gone down beautifully :lupasepoglavi:

My only real regret is that more people didn't show up. Even though they didn't do a formal encore, the noise from the crowd once they left the stage felt so spontaneous and genuine—you could actually see some of the band members smiling because of it.

Anyway, I won't ramble forever, but I gotta say: Ches absolutely killed it (not that I expected anything less). I really hope—and I honestly think he will—that he ends up being part of even bigger projects down the road than Secret Chiefs 3.
I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but for me, that concert was a perfect 10.

Peace 🙂

I second that. I guess I’ve been a fan for about 15 years now.

It was great, though honestly, I wish they’d kicked things off much earlier or at least on schedule. By the end, I was just too wiped out to actually follow along or enjoy it... Did those maniacs really pull an encore at the very last minute?

I feel you, man. You were totally zonked, what a mess. 😁

Great show. 👍Loved those soulful moments and everyone catching the vibe with their hands up. 😁

It was great, but they definitely dragged it out. If they had just played maybe four or five songs earlier, it would have been killer. Plus, everyone probably would've headed out for a smoke break sooner.

You think😵?

The drummer was just totally killing it—really driving that rhythm—
the opening act was actually super fun and had such a great, playful energy,
and honestly, Secret Chiefs 3 were incredible during the first half; I was seriously blown away by how intense they sound live! 😍 That blend of metal and "world music"—you know, those Eastern vibes that all kind of bleed together for me—is just such a killer combo. 😳 😳
Then after the break (😕), things got a little hit-or-miss—the songs felt way more experimental, like, there was only one track that really hit the spot for me. And yeah, they did come back for an encore to play one song, which was also solid. Does anyone happen to have the setlist?
They often sound like they’re scoring a movie, but I don't mind at all—their albums always have that ambient, cinematic quality, right?

Oh, and do they wear masks because they're actually embarrassed to look the crowd in the eye? 😬
Actually, the crowd was a bit weird, but it didn't really ruin anything—we even managed to pull off a pit once! 😁

Man, I really nailed this review. 🤦

Finally, a real concert to look forward to!

If only it had started at a decent hour—the opening acts were pretty much a waste of time—but here we are... just sipping on way too much coffee while I wait for 4:00 PM.

Man, I swear, even I start losing my damn focus when they begin messing around like that 🙂
... those ones that sounded like cartoon theme songs were definitely the best 😍 😬

They played way too long—and starting at 4 PM was a bit much—but they still killed it. They’re just such a massive band, I guess.

In a celebratory mood, though honestly, I'd love to send everyone smoking inside the venue straight to hell.

In a review-style tone, I suppose I’d be quite annoyed by anyone smoking inside the arena.

Come on then, step up and try me.😂

Here's the thread. 🤦 I'm looking for why there's nothing on Thirsty Ear and the rest. 😕

🤣 You’re probably thinking of those parts where they start pushing all that religious bullshit. 👍 How did I miss that? Honestly, I used to be such a huge Beatles fan. 😲

urbannomad30 said:So, what, they're wearing masks because they can't handle looking the audience in the eye? 😬

Not even a chance, because they are. secret!

Watch this, I’m about to outdo everyone else here for pure nonsense. Here’s the bottom line: the keyboard player is trying way too hard to channel Charles Bronson, the drummer is acting like he’s straight out of a Steve Buscemi movie, and that tiny little guitarist on the right looks exactly like some kid I went to high school with. That’s it. Period.

Nah, you got that wrong. I was checking them out on an unreleased recording last night and man, it felt incredibly raw. It gets a little sluggish during certain parts, but that’s just momentary. For me, the tracks where the keys really pop were the absolute highlights. Honestly, they were unexpectedly killer. 😲 Since we’re talking about Persian music right now, and considering that one theory about where Americans actually came from, you could argue they were just playing their own local tunes. 😉 The poster should've just put "100% homegrown" on there, kind of like how they do on those Roko & akademija posters. 👍

I’ve always had a soft spot for Oriental styles—they just hit different when you hear them live, I guess.

Damn, how did I miss that? 🙈 I also know that sometimes he overplays the bass—it’s a bit much.

Charles James9 said:And that little guitarist over there on the right—wasn't he in one of my high school buddy's bands?

Can you actually confirm the similarities to Kay? 😬
