My formal grievance:

A red card. 45 points docked for "insulting other users."
I’d love for the moderator to just tell me: which user was I supposedly insulting?

Yet, if you look back a few posts this kind of post goes completely unpunished.

So, exactly who did I offend?

Thanks.

Three days, everyone. It’s been three full days.

Why haven't I received a single response yet?

Then again, if the moderator in question actually had a defense to offer, I doubt they would have stayed silent this long. 👎

Furthermore, there isn't much to say about this particular moderator. I was slapped with a warning "for bashing Williams"—and since Williams is the very Formula 1 team this moderator supports, it seems I was accused of trolling just because I knew where his loyalties lie.

If this weren't so ridiculous, it would be tragic.

Even though the moderator has typed out over 70 posts since this thread was created, he hasn't seen fit to show up here.

I am also looking for input from the supermoderators, and I’m requesting the removal of that last warning—it was completely undeserved.

As for the moderator, my message is simple: treat all members equally and manage this sub-forum according to the rules set by his superiors.☕

So far, that hasn't happened.👎

Looking at that post that got flagged, it seems like you were being a little insulting. You might not have named anyone directly, but it was pretty obvious who you were poking at. So, the warning wasn't completely baseless. That's just my neutral take on it. Ultimately, it's up to the moderator's discretion since they have more context on the full discussion.

Believe it or not, the post wasn't actually directed at any particular user from the "Formula 1" PDF.

Just like that unmoderated post in the same thread.

Those "hidden" insults aren't even remotely funny, let alone clever enough to be interesting enough to dwell on.

Regarding that specific post mentioned earlier—it’s impossible to tell who they were actually aiming at since you have to click through just to see the content.

That specific post? It doesn't show who it's actually addressed to. You just open the thread and see the text sitting there on its own.

Alright, listen up..

so I can finally close this discussion

Pila, first off, when you asked me to bring you back into the Formula 1 PDF, one of my conditions was that you’d settle down and keep things chill. You have been anything but that.
Secondly, you actually typed out your insult in a post where you were quoting someone else; Jordi wasn't quoting anyone here. That single fact alone is enough reason for me to give him a pass while being much harder on you.
Thirdly, you have eleven pages of various infractions under your belt—so where exactly did you get the idea that people are just going to overlook any post of yours that could be interpreted two different ways? By default, we’re always going to assume the "worse" interpretation in cases like this.
Fourthly, even putting those three points aside, I still find myself giving you far too many chances whenever someone reports one of your posts and you just insist on having it your way.

Fifthly, I've said my piece, and as far as I'm concerned, this conversation is over.

So, if I had replied to your post saying "What a joke," would you have penalized me then?

Howyesno. 🙄

Just like how you didn't hand me a ban for trolling when I was trashing Williams.🙄

And George... George is a whole different story.

I've come to terms with the fact that you're just sitting there like a coiled spring, waiting for any excuse to flag me. And you do. Regardless of whether the reasoning behind the flags makes sense or not.

Bottom line? I actually enjoy being on the Formula 1 subforum. ☕ 🙏
