So, I just got diagnosed with a bacterial infection in my outer ear and ear canal—specifically staphylococcus aureus. It’s basically this wet eczema or skin inflammation thing, and man, the itching, redness, flaking, swelling, and discharge are just brutal. I’ve been dealing with this for a few years now, and I feel like I’ve tried pretty much everything under the sun. If anyone here has dealt with something similar or knows of anything that actually works, I’d really appreciate it if you could share. Thanks so much.

Maybe try some antiseptic ear drops plus mupirocin cream, and if things don't clear up, maybe some oral antibiotics?

I've been thinking about using those little oil drops to clear out my ear canals...
