To’s the short version... A few months back, I started noticing my vision in my left eye was getting progressively worse (my right eye was already at a 2.25 while the left was basically zero). After struggling to get any relief from contact lenses, I finally went to see a specialist at Mayo Clinic a couple of days ago. After running all sorts of tests because they couldn't figure out why my lenses weren't working, one scan revealed some kind of membrane on my cornea and a buildup of fluid.
My current treatment plan involves Andol 100, Normabel 5mg, and some antihistamine—I think it was Letizen or something similar.
I'm wondering if anyone else here has dealt with this... My doctor is insisting that stress is the root cause, claiming that just like how some people develop stomach ulcers, others might experience this...
