I mean, I guess you could argue that Al Capone’s Smallpox definitely counts as one of those Hollywood Horror flicks.

I think The Redeemer is absolutely top-tier, and I actually just finished watching TT Syndrome too... I'm really digging their style lately...

Most of the horror movies they broadcast on TV are just those local American productions.

Aha, I get it. You're trying to say they're the bad guys. I guess... bravo.

What was that movie again? I can't remember if it was an American production or something else entirely. I watched it when I was just a kid—the one where people were turning into rats?

The Savior

OT: Maybe we should rethink the thread title. Something like American Horror Story or Hollywood Horror might fit better.
Since about 90% of our discussion centers on those specific cult classics from the old era, but the current title feels too localized to one specific region.🙂
Just a suggestion.☕

Why hasn't anyone brought up something like Pride of the Rajahs or even... Forbidden Love? 😕

I realize this isn't an American production, nor is it strictly a horror movie—it feels more suited for a children's program—but "Strangler vs Strangler" is actually quite good. Think of it as an American take on "Psycho".😉 Here is where you can watch it online.......

I watched Savior too, but I can't quite remember how it ended.
Does anyone know much more about The Vampire? I'm really into vampire movies, so if someone wouldn't mind, could you write up a quick summary of what happens in The Vampire?

"Life and Death of a Porn Gang" definitely leans into horror territory. Both "The Butterfly" and "Holy Place" were made by the same director, and they’re classic vampire flicks. Then you've got "Dead Zone," "TT Syndrome," and "Smallpox," which all carry those horror vibes, along with "Strangler vs Strangler." That’s pretty much everything I can think of. Oh, and there's some teenage trash called "Satan's Warrior," plus that "Mexican Film" project that hasn't even hit theaters yet...

I completely blanked on mentioning "See you later," which honestly feels more like something out of a horror movie...

I’d say Satan's Warrior works pretty well as a teen horror-comedy. The camerawork is decent, the acting holds up, and there are a few standout moments.
