Amanda Alvarez35 said:I actually tried Carefree a little while back—I think I grabbed the wrong kind at the grocery store instead of Nature 😬—and while the surface feels fine, they just felt a bit too bulky compared to what I'm used to with Nature 🤷

Haha... I had the exact same experience when I tried those 🤣
They work okay for me overnight when things are a bit lighter, but during the day? No way! 🙂

P.S.—I still really recommend FEEL FINE. They are a tiny bit thicker than Nature 🤣, but nowhere near as thick as Carefree, and since they're made of cotton and have absolutely no scent, they're perfect for me! 😍 😍

Is that http://www.ekorpa.com/img/images/ori...1/49192-1.jpg?

I might just have to go for it! It's been way too long since I've done anything adventurous 😁

I suppose I might give them a shot; it has been quite some time since I’ve allowed myself to be a little adventurous. 😁

Yeah, 👍
I really hope you enjoy them! I absolutely love this brand, and honestly, the price feels like a total steal—$4.00 for 20 pads!? But I certainly don't regret buying them. 😉

I’ve noticed some of you mentioning how much you love using the Jessica liners from CVS, but I have to say, they’ve been a total disaster for me... 🤷 😕 It seems like the top mesh layer just completely detaches from the absorbent part. It sounds a bit dramatic, I know, but it really does happen—especially along the edges at the back where a centimeter or two just peels away. 🤷 I honestly can’t wrap my head around why this keeps happening, especially since I’m quite diligent about changing them frequently and making sure they aren't overfilled, yet there it is. I actually bought them a few more times thinking perhaps I was just being overly fussy (🤣), but they simply don't work for me. I truly admire anyone who finds them useful, because they are just awful in my experience. 😢

Honestly, I’m over Jessica too... they're fine if I just need something for overnight, but they definitely don't blow me away!

Here’s my situation: I’ve finally realized I’m allergic to sanitary pads. I’ve cycled through Victoria's Secret, Always, Stayfree, Kotex, and several cheap drugstore brands. Every single one of them leaves me itching like crazy, breaking out in bumps, and even causing swelling down there—it's honestly revolting.🙄 I can't deal with this anymore... 😢At first, I thought it was just a yeast infection, but the irritation only kicks in during my period, and this has been happening consistently for the last six months.

I usually stick to tampons, but they aren't great for sleeping or for those lighter days at the end of my cycle. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of reaction to pads? Also, does anyone know if there’s a specific brand made entirely from organic, natural materials?😕

Thanks in advance for any insight. 🙂

Sam Nelson8, check out the comments on the previous pages about pads, might be worth a look. Or maybe you could peek at the cloth pads thread or even menstrual cups.

You can find pads labeled as 100% cotton. In most regular grocery stores, you'll mostly see brands like Always or Stayfree, though you can also find them at pharmacies if you don't mind paying a bit more.

Cotton is definitely the healthier choice for you, even if they aren't quite as easy to find on the go.

Ugh... I just can't get behind those "natural" pads.🤣 My flow is heavy, and honestly, Always is the only thing that’s ever actually worked for me.🤷 They’re the only ones that actually stay put against my underwear; everything else just ends up leaking out the side eventually.

I feel like those Victoria's Secret overnight pads are just way too bulky—almost like wearing a diaper, if you know what I mean—so they aren't really my favorite. Personally, I think the Always overnight pads I get from Walmart are the best, especially since they're specifically made for the German market. The Always ones you find at CVS are manufactured in Poland, and I guess they just don't seem to be quite as high quality as the ones from Walmart.

Look, if you're just staying in during the winter, you could try switching to natural brands at home. That's how I used to manage—natural products for cozy days inside, and the reliable stuff when I was out.😁.

Anions - air vitamins tucked between the layers of a sanitary pad. Apparently, they supposedly kill off viruses and bacteria while boosting your immune system ?????????????? what an absolutely dreadful advertisement.

I’m not even going to address the comment or the ad itself, but I am curious if anyone has actually tried Love Moon anion pads?
They're thin, have wings, and didn't leak on me overnight, but the price tag is steep:
- regular size: $15 (10 count);
- overnight: $15 (8 count);
- daily: $17 (30 count).

Would you guys pick these over, say, Tampax or Always? Which ones do you think are healthier?

Air vitamins? Like we're actually out here hunting for nutrients in the breeze while we breathe? LOL
What a ridiculous marketing stunt. 🙂

I've been using Love Moon pads for a while now, and seriously, it's been a total game changer—they work wonders for me. And as for those people talking nonsense online? Please. It’s not "air vitamins" or whatever; it’s actual anions, people, get with the program... I used to stick to Libresse, Carefree, or Naturella, but Love Moon definitely blows them out of the water... ever since I switched to the small Love Moon ones, that nasty odor is totally gone, and my discharge has calmed down way more (it's still there, obviously, but at least it doesn't smell)... plus, the period ones absorb like crazy and—most importantly—stay dry, unlike all the other brands I've wasted money on before. 😍

I wanted to bring this up for a second...
For years, I just stuck with Always pads from Target, and before that, I’d buy them anywhere since they worked fine for me. But ever since I had my baby, I’ve been dealing with this constant itching, burning, and irritation. It took me two whole years to finally realize the culprit was actually those Always pads. Now, I’m honestly at a loss for what to switch to... I’ve looked into Libresse, but it doesn't seem like much of a win. What do you guys suggest? Maybe Naturella or Carefree? Or those organic ones from Whole Foods? Those are just... incredibly expensive, though.

Naturella is my absolute go-to. I know some people can't stand that extra scent, but honestly, I don't even notice it. For me, it's all about how thin and comfy they feel!

The Always Natural ones are decent too, just a little too bulky for my liking.

When my period hits, I tend to switch things up depending on the flow. If it’s heavy, I go with Always, but if it’s lighter, I stick to Tampax. That combination just seems to work best for me, I guess. I like the Tampax ones because they’re super thin, whereas the Always pads are a bit thicker, though both are pretty soft. Right now, I’ve been using the Tampax liners for daily wear since they’re incredibly slim, but honestly, the scent is kind of an issue for me.

Cloth pads are the only thing that isn't basically toxic. Everything else is just poison... 🙂
