Do people still call FOX "Channel 3"?

😁 Just every once in a while...

I never once referred to it as the third channel.😕

I always just called it FOX.😁

It seems to me that the number three is always my go-to, much like it is for pretty much everyone else I know.
I can't help but wonder—what is it about that specific number that carries such weight? 🤔

Used to have it on channel three, now it's HRT+ on three and FOX on four.

It’s my third time watching this program, but we’ve never actually called it that before.

I’ve got him at third too, so that’s what I call him...

I have FOX on channel three—does that make me "in" now? 🤷

I’ve always just called FOX "FOX," never "the third channel." Look, I’m old enough to remember when we had PBS back in the day, if you know what I mean. 😛

I’ve always associated Nova with channel 5. Back then, my lineup was basically ABC, CBS, PBS, and then my local access station. Once Nova showed up, they moved it to 5, and right after they phased out PBS, FOX popped up almost immediately. That’s why FOX stayed on 3 and Nova landed on 5.
Later on, VOX joined the mix over on channel 6.

I don't even have HBO; I can only get it through Max. Not that I actually sit around watching it anyway.
