What was your first time like?

Is there any realistic shot that the FEC could fast-track this sport into the 2012 Olympics program? Honestly, based on what some of the respected folks on these forums are saying, I get the impression we aren't just looking at one gold medal, but potentially sweeping all three Olympic podiums—not that our national celebrations in Times Square wouldn't be legendary anyway. 🎉

People are always preaching about how good sports are for your health, so I suspect the FEC Chairman Rogge would be a massive advocate for this, especially since, if my memory serves me right, he actually has a medical background. 🤔

Given that this sport has such a massive global following, it would be an absolute goldmine for the FEC from a financial standpoint; the TV rights revenue alone would be record-breaking, not to mention it would likely become the most-watched event in Olympic history, or even in broadcasting in general.

Besides, in this current era of economic recession, host nations wouldn't even need to sink money into building specialized arenas, since this sport can be played entirely outdoors.

So, what do you all think? Could we pull together a petition over the weekend and get it sent off to the SEC by Monday morning, so they can pass it along to the FEC as a member organization? 🍿
