What actually makes a great coach? You can really see the fingerprints of a manager in how the Canadian national team plays. They play this high-octane, run-and-gun style of handball that looks like it was lifted straight out of Serdarusicev's Kiel. It’s impressive because you don't even notice they're lacking in raw individual talent; they just play such cohesive, beautiful team handball instead.

Jordan Scott, 20+ saves, and then these guys go and blow a +4 lead in a matter of minutes at the end.

When I watch the Canadians play, it honestly feels a bit like watching Mikkel Hansen 🙏, which is why Noka is such a legend; he basically taught them how to play handball at an elite, world-class level

It’s such a shame they don't have a few more high-caliber players on the roster, because if they did, they’d be legitimate medal contenders

Their real issue is that they just don't have the talent to pull off plays like that under pressure.

I honestly can't wrap my head around John, but man, that was just too much. You can't just rob people like that. Two Poles driving hard into the paint and flattening the center on the layup, and the refs see nothing? Pathetic.

Leading 29-25 against the Poles in the 53rd minute.
Up 32-28 against the Germans in the 52nd.

They just completely outpaced them. That’s how we need to be playing against the Russians if we want any shot at winning; there's no way those diesel engines can keep up with that kind of tempo.

Spiler clearly misinterpreted what Noka meant by a "quick shot." My grandmother could have saved that one.

I can’t even wrap my head around what John was thinking, man; some things are just plain unacceptable. You can't go around robbing people like that. You've got two Poles absolutely flattening the center in the paint, and the refs? Nothing. Just standing there. It's pathetic.

The foul was actually on the defender inside the key, not the center... though I was typing this out so I didn't get a perfect look... but I definitely saw where the guy ended up lying after the contact...

One official just stands there waiting before shyly pointing toward the penalty spot, while the guy by the goal signals it's over. He wouldn't have called a foul if his life depended on it. 🤣

If Strlek gets handed a penalty against Loke because Alilović barely brushed him while he was just an inch into the space, then this call is a total joke.
