It’s pretty interesting watching what’s going on with the French. After that mess with the Germans, I'm convinced it wasn't just about them being out of shape too early.

They start off with that specific 9-meter defense—the same one that absolutely shredded us at the World Cup—and they completely break the opponent's spirit. They spend ten minutes just grinding people down, hitting fast breaks, building a lead easily... game over, right? And then, total collapse. It happened against the Spanish and again against the Germans. They just stand there watching the lead evaporate, looking completely helpless. Is that defense just draining them dry, or were they just poorly prepared this time around? Or is it something else entirely?

or maybe they’re just getting cocky and letting their guard down because they think the match is already in the bag.

Look, the guys are getting older every single year. They aren't heading toward their prime anymore; they’re heading straight toward retirement. We can already cycle through plenty of players at the bank, which wasn't an option before, but the whole process is just moving slower than it used to.
Gill isn't playing defense—I think he's the one with the messy hair—and honestly, I don't think he has the stamina left after that injury. Or maybe they're just saving him to play alongside Balic.

Onesta isn't just throwing these random nobodies into the line of fire for no reason. These "old timers" can't keep grinding out 60 minutes across eight games anymore. They aren't made of steel.

Poland played an incredible game, leading 12:7 with only 25 minutes left on the clock...

The way Spaniards are playing right now is just a total disaster—it’s like they don't even want to score... they're missing shots that should be easy and stuff that's impossible...

Honestly? It’s probably a mix of everything mentioned above. 🙂

I feel like the only ones who could actually settle them down are the Canadians. 😁

The Spaniards look completely lost out there. They’re sitting in this deep defense that’s basically just a sieve, and they haven't found a single way to crack that Polish 6-0 setup. Plus, that guy's handling the Money like a total pro.

Aha, so their defensive mobility is lacking, letting the Poles bypass them effortlessly, while the offense remains sluggish and directionless. The Poles will likely pull away in the first half 🙏

The Spaniards are totally unrecognizable right now—and honestly, the Poles could've definitely squeezed even more out of this slump the Spaniards are in. Expect the Spaniards to step it up in the second half 😁

The system is completely falling apart against the Spaniards, and they just got mauled by the Polish... it's hard to see them pulling anything together at this rate. 25:17, 45th minute

It's 25:21 in the 49th.

It’s all the same story... seven different ways to fail. We can't penetrate the perimeter, the passing is sluggish and never reaches the wings, and the defense is non-existent. This game is already lost.

Haha... man, you gotta love the Spaniards... two solid games played and then they just completely blow it all in the final minutes...

I guess it’s going to come down to a total showdown for that last spot, though I'm betting the Frenchies pull it off...

The French formation looks pretty interesting

Karabatic is still holding down the middle, but Fernandez has moved over to left wing, while Abbott is playing on the right side

Abbott only played those last ten minutes at right wing.
