Every single bone in my body aches—especially my shins, and the pain is intense. This started about two months ago and it’s only getting worse. I’m 28 years old, yet I feel like I'm 78. What am I looking at? 🤷

Man, have you even seen a doctor yet? Honestly, idk, could be a million different things... Just go get checked out first so you can actually narrow down what we're dealing with 🙄

No, I didn't go. My last visit was about a month ago—saw my primary care physician—and he basically told me it’s just because I sit at my desk too much and need to start exercising. But honestly, I don't get it—why would every single bone in my body ache this intensely just from sitting around?

Look,

I'll tell you about a situation I know firsthand, but please, don't go jumping to the worst-case scenario immediately. Just try to get things checked out as soon as you can...

A friend of mine has a sister who had issues with her lower leg. It hurt for at least half a year, she did physical therapy and everything, but nothing worked and the pain just kept getting worse. Once she actually started freaking out, she went to see a specialist privately to really dig deep, and they found out she had a tumor 😢

But unfortunately, it had already metastasized... She passed away about a month and a half ago...

So, I'm just telling you this one case I know. For you, it could be something totally minor like a vitamin deficiency, or even—believe it or not—the exercise itself might be causing issues... Try finding a workout routine that fits your daily activity needs, but if that doesn't fix it, you seriously need to keep digging until you find the actual cause.

Good luck 😉

I honestly think you should just go talk to your doctor first; I guess they'll be able to figure out what's best for you way better than we can here.

Michelle Perez3, we aren't talking about a pinpointed ache here; this is a systemic issue, which means we can pretty much rule out any speculation about sarcoma. You have to be incredibly careful with these kinds of claims because you can genuinely scare someone half to death over nothing.

As for what’s actually going on, there is no way for us to know from here. Your best bet is to get in touch with your primary care physician and push for some actual testing...

Honestly, just head over to your doctor and ask them to send you in for some full testing.
I went through something pretty similar a few years back when my joints started acting up. It was awful—the pain would just intensify hour by hour until I couldn't even pull on a pair of jeans or grab my toothbrush without struggling. My primary care physician ended up sending me for rheumatoid arthritis screenings, but everything came back negative. Turns out, it was actually a form of rheumatic issues that just flares up every once in a while.
Whenever it starts acting up, I just take an Advil.
Bone and joint pain isn't all that uncommon, really. So, please, don't let fear hold you back—just get those tests done as soon as you can!

Thanks for the input. I’d love to get a second opinion from a specialist, but private consultations aren't in my budget—and my primary care physician won't take my concerns seriously enough to even bother with a referral. 🤷

How many times have you actually sat in that GP's office? If you tell them straight up that the exercises aren't working and the pain is just getting worse, they should be giving you a referral for some actual testing. If they don't... find a new doctor.
