Does anyone actually realize that when you show up with intermittent red, scaly patches, a dermatologist might send you straight for a gastroscopy and an ultrasound? The diagnosis is some version of dermatitis—psoriasis-form or nummular—and the doctor just adds this little parting gift: "At least it's not psoriasis..." 😕 They won't even commit to a clear answer until those test results come back.

We're talking about a 52-year-old male here.

Need help. 😢

So, if you’ve already finished the analysis—what did the results actually look like?

It’s H. pylori—everything else seems fine.😕
He was put on triple therapy for it along with some kind of corticosteroid cream.
Right now, things look slightly better. But let's be real: it’s steroids, so of course the dermatitis is receding. It's a temporary fix. We'll see what happens once the treatment course actually ends.
I haven't found a single case online where H. pylori causes skin issues like this.

The dermatologist's approach is completely opaque. Instead of running the necessary tests, they just offer these vague, peripheral observations.😲

Honestly, I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it all now.
I spent years cycling through corticosteroids and even harsher immunosuppressants, but nothing worked.
Then, I finally decided to do some food intolerance testing. Once I cut out eggs and dairy, about 90% of my symptoms vanished within a month.
I forgot to mention—I was actually treating a case of dermatitis that had spread to two different spots and turned into a complete disaster.
Everything is fine now; if someone had told me this was possible back then, I wouldn't have believed them.
Best wishes and good luck to everyone.
