I’m really hoping someone can offer some advice or guidance here..
I’ve run into a bit of a situation.. I don't quite know how it happened, but I think I was scratching myself in my sleep without realizing it, and I’ve actually caused some irritation and a few small cuts near my clitoris. It seems like I have this unconscious habit of scratching there while I'm asleep. 😢🙄
The main issue is that it burns terribly, especially when I’m using the bathroom or even just showering. 😢
I’m honestly at a loss for what to do.. I tried calling my gynecologist, but they can't squeeze me in until next Thursday, which feels like forever when you're in this much pain.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe a specific ointment or something else I could apply to help soothe it? 😕🤷
Please, if anyone has any tips, I'd really appreciate them.. 🙏🙏

Pick up some St. John's Wort oil at the pharmacy; it’s an excellent topical for wound healing and perfectly safe for the pelvic area. For the last few evenings, I’ve been following an old folk remedy where I soak a tampon in that oil and insert it—I’ve heard it helps draw out impurities. Since I’m dealing with PCOS, I figured it was worth a shot...

I’m just curious what you’re actually going to tell the OB-GYN about how that whole mess went down!🙏🤣🤣

Well, I actually managed to get in to see a gynecologist this past Friday..🙏
He was asking me questions, and I realized I’ve been scratching almost unconsciously, like I'm in a dream state.. 🤣 😁
It turns out I have some kind of infection, so he prescribed me some antifungal cream and vaginal suppositories..
The swelling is honestly just awful, and every time I have to go to the bathroom, it feels like my soul is crying because the stinging and pain are so intense.. I really don't know what else to do with this discomfort.. I can't do anything—not sit comfortably, not walk, and certainly not pee without pain.. oh boy, it's just too much 😢 😢 😢 😢

Greetings, dear lady. I am reaching out because I have noticed a rather intense stinging sensation when I wipe after using the restroom. To the naked eye, everything appears perfectly normal, yet when I check myself more closely, there is a sensation of slight roughness, almost as if there were an invisible scratch or irritation present. It feels quite uncomfortable and leaves me feeling somewhat uneasy. If you might be willing to offer any advice before I schedule an appointment with my gynecologist, I would be most grateful; I find myself worrying that she might claim nothing is wrong even when I can clearly feel this discomfort.🙂It is as though I have some sort of unseen wound, which makes the whole experience quite unsettling.🙂Thank you very much.

It could be urethritis, or perhaps vaginal inflammation. You won't know for certain until you see a doctor.🙂

On a side note, I find that tea tree oil-based creams work wonders for soothing that kind of stinging sensation.🙂

Nicole Morgan73 said:An inflamed urethra can definitely cause that burning sensation, and it could just as easily be a vaginal infection. You really shouldn't try to manage this without seeing a gynecologist first.🙂

Personally, I find that using a tea tree oil-based cream helps quite a bit whenever I need to soothe some stinging or irritation.🙂

Thank you.🙂
