Forum is showing ghost PMs that aren't actually there

Is anyone else running into this?

It shows me two unread messages, but then I head over to my inbox... and they're just gone.

That usually happens when you, say, have two messages, delete them, and then just sit there on the same page without actually navigating away or hitting refresh (F5).

Just hit refresh and they'll be gone.😉

It seems to be there every single time I log on..

Today was particularly strange; I actually got a notification—one of those pop-ups—from some unknown username.. I clicked it, thinking I’d finally see what it was, but the message just vanished into thin air.. yet, somehow, that second one is still hanging around right where it started.

Did you try deleting them? That's weird.... I've never had anything like that happen to me..

Are you using the Democrat site often?

I use it quite a bit and never once had an issue with things glitching out... finding everything I need in my inbox, all that stuff... yeah, no issues here..

I'm telling you, my notifications showed two unread messages at the top. Since I have that pop-up option enabled, I clicked "yes"... only to find some random username had sent me something completely irrelevant.

But then it just redirected me straight to my inbox where absolutely nothing was new... and yet, here we are, and it’s still claiming I have two unread messages.

Just kill those pop-ups and clear out your cookies...
