So, I recently stumbled upon an ad on McKesson for those Bayer tablets and their vaginal irrigator.
The tablets are supposed to handle general hygiene and help ward off infections, itching, burning, irritation, funky odors, and all that good stuff, while the irrigator is for flushing things out, preventing infections, managing discharge or itchiness, and acting as a little extra support when you're already dealing with yeast or bacterial issues. It comes with this specific applicator for the rinse, and apparently, it’s super easy to use just a few times a week.
They claim just about everything under the sun, and honestly, it sounded like a pretty solid way to step up my intimate hygiene routine...
But I was wondering, has anyone here actually tried these products before?
Where can I even pick them up? Like, at a local CVS or Walgreens?
And does anyone know what they usually go for?

Thanks in advance for any help

It looks like $30 is available at local pharmacies.

Honestly, any drugstore should have it—it's seriously great stuff 🙂

Thanks so much!
I’d really love to know if anyone else has any extra thoughts on this... I'm definitely holding off on buying anything until I can get a few different perspectives, even though it honestly looks pretty solid and effective to me... 🙂

Those effervescent tablets are fantastic; I haven't dealt with an infection since I started using them. Lately, I’ve also been incorporating a water flosser into my routine—I just fill it with water and add a few drops of tea tree essential oil. It works wonders for hygiene after sex or during my period; it does a great job of cleansing the area 🙂

I used their gel when I was dealing with some vaginosis stuff—honestly, I don't know much about the science behind it, but my doctor recommended it and it worked wonders for me. My only gripe is that I wouldn't suggest using it during your period because it gets a bit clogged up 😂... Other than that, my doctor said it's actually great for soothing irritation after sex and things like that.

I dealt with yeast infections for a couple of years. It started after a round of antibiotics and just became this recurring thing—Monistat helped temporarily, but they’d always come right back. Honestly, I suspect it might have been a mixed infection involving both yeast and bacteria, since even Monistat wouldn't always cut it. I wanted to try something more natural, so I picked up some Monistat Gel at the pharmacy. It’s a simple gel you apply twice a day for a few days. It stings a little right when you put it on, but it’s brief—nothing major. After one round, they flared up again (maybe a few months later), so I repeated the process and things have been fine ever since—it's been at least a year now. It's great because it targets both yeast and bacteria, and you can even use it preventatively when you feel an infection brewing. It runs about $30. Just a heads-up: the manufacturer makes a liquid gel or something similar that looks almost identical, but it isn't for this. They also have an irrigator and tablets, but I haven't gone that route.

So, I’ve just finished up my treatment, and my doctor suggested I start using some lactic acid wipes—specifically those Vivag ones—to help get my flora back in balance after finishing the course of Doxycycline and Zithromax
but now I’m feeling a bit stuck on what the best next step is, so I'm debating whether I should go with the Bayer irrigation kit with the effervescent tablets or if switching over to Monistat Gel would be better for maintaining hygiene and keeping future infections at bay

I'd really appreciate any advice you all might have 😉
