Alright, Iβve got a bit of a nagging little issue here.
Iβve had a tiny piece of food stuck in my mouth for two days now. Itβs hard to describe exactly whereβπ it isn't in my gums or tucked between my teeth, but rather in that soft tissue at the back of my throat when I open wide. I have no idea how it even got lodged there, but this happens to me maybe four or five times a year. (Usually after eating almonds or something similarly crunchy that gets stuck).
It doesn't actually hurt, it just feels irritating right under my tongue. And honestly? Once I finally manage to get it out, it smells. Like, really bad. π I'm pretty sure it makes my whole mouth smell, too. Iβve tried fishing it out with a toothbrush, a toothpick, and even gargling mouthwash, but nothing works. All I end up doing is irritating the surrounding tissue, which stays swollen for a few days until the thing finally pops out on its own.
What should I do? Has anyone else dealt with something like this? Any tips on how to get it out? π€·
