Moved: Cat in the Road

I started a thread about traveling with cats—specifically covering road trips and ferry rides—but somehow it got moved over to Pets on Ferries

There’s already a dedicated thread for traveling with dogs, yet there isn't one for cats
The whole point of the discussion is totally lost now
I mean, if someone is struggling with how to manage their cat during transit, they aren't necessarily looking at ferry options specifically
It would be much more useful to just have a standalone topic for traveling with cats by any means necessary

In our topic list, you'll find Pet Travel Regulations along with links to specific threads here:

- Pets on public transit
- Traveling by train or bus
- Flying with pets
- Pets in the car
- Pets on boats or ferries... (just added this one a couple of days ago!)

Beyond just the rules, people chat about all sorts of stuff in these threads too—things like motion sickness, anxiety, feeding schedules, or even where they take breaks during a long trip...

We actually used to have separate threads just for dogs, but we decided to merge them and rename everything to Pets in... since most laws and airline policies usually just refer to "pets" in general rather than specifically dogs.

Personally, I think the way these travel topics are organized right now is pretty easy to navigate. It seems like whenever someone posts a question in any of these sections, they get a helpful answer pretty quickly.
