Why can't I post in the Ban Corner?
I can see the threads, but I can't reply or start anything new... maybe there's some rule I don't know about?

Look, you aren't banned and you aren't a moderator, so you basically have zero business being over there. 🙂

I just got back online 😁...things are already getting heated. People are throwing warnings around left and right...just constant bickering over on PPa. Everyone's basically one step away from being banned if the mod decides to go hunting for even the smallest little rule-breaker...and they're doing it in the classifieds section. Honestly, you have to laugh to keep from crying. What a joke of a place this is...
They start banning people for stuff that isn't even written down anywhere...new users don't know the "rules," but they sure as hell know how to get hit with a warning...

And nobody wants to end up in that jail cell, stuck in the Ban Corner...it’s like a life sentence....

🤣 A global mod is basically just a super mod, just running on different types of forum software like phpBB3... I've spent plenty of time managing sites on vBulletin, phpBB2, phpBB3, and myBB, where I currently serve as the superAdmin—essentially a sysAdmin with full FTP access. Honestly, I love what myBB offers; it feels quite similar to vBulletin in its versatility. For instance, every user gets their own notepad, there’s a shared one for Admins, and even a private one for Admins that stays hidden from everyone else. It also features reputation systems, penalty points, and when you check a profile—yours or anyone else's—you can see exactly which threads they're reading and if they're currently online. 🙂

Personally, I can't stand the atmosphere in certain parts of this site. You’ve got people throwing around bans like they're candy, yet they can't even string together a coherent sentence, let alone explain themselves. It feels like someone gets slapped with a ban just for having the nerve to ask a question, and then some moderator wipes out their entire post—which was probably a massive, rambling mess anyway—leaving nothing behind. And what happens to the person who actually asked the question? Their question just hangs there in mid-air, unanswered. A whole bunch of unanswered questions... sigh... it's pathetic, really. These kinds of forums with these kinds of moderators... just sad.

They could use a reality check themselves... maybe a little warning... so they don't think they're untouchable gods looking down on us mere mortals.
