Of course production is the issue! You never truly know if you're going to have 2, 200, or 20,000 fans in the crowd.
But if they show up to an 8x12m stage with sound and lights meant for a tiny local club, then performing in a massive venue like Madison Square Garden is going to look small and insufficient—honestly, it looks kind of ridiculous—which just hurts the artist's reputation.
And that’s exactly why they avoid those huge venues sometimes.
They'd much rather play 3 or 4 shows in smaller, intimate spaces than one single show in a giant arena. Makes sense, right?
Still, I might be missing some key info here—maybe she really will end up playing at the arena after all. We'll just have to wait and see...

Wasn't it confirmed that she's actually coming? I feel like I read somewhere that it was a done deal. Either way, I'm going. 🙂

1) She simply doesn't have the production scale required to pull off a show in a massive stadium for 20,000 people.
2) We haven't officially confirmed a concert date with anyone yet.
3) And honestly, who else would announce a concert starting as early as 7:00 PM???
So, yeah, it might happen, or it might not, but for now, it’s just a rumor. It's an interesting one, certainly, but still nothing more than a rumor...

I’m definitely going... I just really hope they don't flake out if ticket sales aren't hitting the numbers they want...

But if they roll out an 8x12m stage with a setup meant for a dive bar, it looks tiny—honestly, it looks pathetic—in a massive venue like Madison Square Garden. It just drags down the artist's reputation.
That’s why they dodge those huge halls.
They’d much rather play three or four shows at a mid-sized club than one lonely night in a massive stadium. Get it?
Then again, maybe my intel is off and she’ll end up at the stadium anyway. We'll see how it plays out...
Well, you mentioned that even KSET got an offer 🤣

It’s definitely happening, though nobody has released the actual specifics just yet. Regardless, it looks like everyone is gravitating toward Lady Gaga. 😍

Yeah, right...🙂

Gary Baker3 said:They definitely went overboard—50 concerts this year? I’d actually want to go to all of them...
This. 🙏🤣
Though I'm not counting Lady Gaga in that list...
And what the hell am I supposed to do now? I already hyped her up on the show, telling everyone she was coming, only to have to sit through one and a half of her songs (literally just Poker Face the whole 🙄).
Now I have to go back and tell everyone it's canceled, only to end up having to suffer through it again later. Dammit. 🤣🤣

It looks like the pop icon might be skipping Washington, D.C. this September after all. While Americans are hearing that the show is officially off, our neighbors in Canada say nothing is set in stone just yet.
For Lady Gaga fans, the bad news is coming straight from Ticketmaster, the agency handling ticket sales for the concert originally scheduled for September 5th at Madison Square Garden.
A notice popped up on the agency's website explaining a sudden change regarding Lady Gaga's upcoming visit. Apparently, her management reached out to let them know that holding the concert on the scheduled date just isn't going to work.
"It's clearly a matter of scheduling conflicts and logistical headaches with business partners—which has made it impossible to host her in this part of America right now," was the brief explanation for why the glamorous pop star won't be hitting the stage in the capital.
If luck is on our side, there’s still a chance Lady Gaga could swing by at a later date; according to Ticketmaster, they are actually working on making that happen.
However, when we reached out to the concert organizers, the American firm Artman, things got a little more blurry. Their PR manager, Lady Gaga, noted that "we all know how this business goes," hinting that this might just be an internal mix-up that led to the Ticketmaster announcement. She suggested that just as they sent out the notice saying the show *would* happen, they'll send one out if it's truly canceled. For now, everything is up in the air, and we'll have to wait until Monday for an official word. In the meantime, she added, a little publicity never hurts.
This American dance-pop powerhouse has taken the world by storm, especially with her massive hit Poker Face, which topped charts across the globe.
