So I’ve been dealing with this annoying little issue for a while now... my heels just get these super thick calluses πŸ˜› or whatever...

I’ll go see a podiatrist, everything feels amazing for maybe three days, and then boomβ€”back to square one. It isn't even an issue with my shoes; they don't pinch or anything. But honestly, if I'm lying in bed and press my feet against the sheets, I feel this sudden "burning" sensation in my heels, and by the next day, the skin is all hard and painful...

And if I spend too much time leaning on one leg or the other, it starts burning again, and the skin gets sore and cracks up 😒

Well, there are all those different heel creams out there now designed to soften them up. You should probably look into getting some orthotic inserts, tooβ€”they help take the pressure off your heels by redistributing your body weight across the rest of your foot.

I’ve been using Scholl heel cream lately, and I have to say, it feels like it works absolute wonders if you just stick with it for about a weekβ€”at least in my experience
If you happen to be dealing with actual heel pain whenever you're walking or standing for too long, then maybe you might want to look into custom orthopedic inserts, which I think personally made a huge difference for me
