I’m thinking we’re talking about the Scorpions here. And look, as much as people love to make fun of Sale around here, I actually thought he was pretty good—even funny at times. You know, that whole "perpetual soccer player" thing, and that absolute terror known as Wind of Change... 😛

I can't stand people who just trash critics. Sure, there’s a whole crowd out there who couldn't do the job if their lives depended on it and have zero objectivity, but you also get the ones who actually know how to write a solid piece. They can actually point people toward decent artists and albums worth their time. You shouldn't take them too seriously since everyone has different tastes—some people love exactly what the critics hate and vice versa—but they act like a compass. You need that kind of guidance when you're drowning in a sea of new releases.
