Dealing with a chameleon tumor?

I need a medical professional here. Can someone explain this massive kidney tumor that’s growing at lightning speed? They call it a "chameleon" because apparently, it’s nearly impossible to spot. A loved one is dying... they're too weak for surgery and relying on Tramadol just to manage the pain. Their skin has turned yellow, too. I'm thinking the tumor has grown so large it's already crushing the other organs.
Could IV fluids lead to ascites?

I'm afraid I don't have the answer to your question, so I'll just give you a massive 🙂.

As far as my limited knowledge of ascites goes—and believe me, it’s pretty minimal—I don't think it's all that connected to the IV fluids. Isn't it more likely a byproduct of liver cirrhosis or perhaps some kind of abdominal tumor?

The ascites is getting worse... we're talking weeks left, unfortunately. My dad passed away from this too—stomach cancer was the killer there. Just being real with you guys... brace yourself for the worst. It’s heavy. 😢peace

Ascites—that fluid buildup in the abdomen... you have to drain it, right? But once you start paracentesis, you're losing nutrients too. You can't just flush it all out at once or the patient will just waste away overnight. It’s a catch-22. Honestly, it feels like we're just delaying the inevitable...
