So, I've realized—especially when I'm working with dumbbells—that my right arm is definitely stronger than my left. I have to grab a lighter weight for my left hand just to keep up with the rhythm of my right. How do I fix this? Should I just load up more weight on the left side and grind through it until they level out, or what?

The trick is to balance things out by doing the exact same number of reps with your weaker hand as you do with your stronger one.
Just don't go messing around with different weights for each side, or you're just going to end up making the imbalance even worse.
