So, I’ve noticed my phone is somewhere in the apartment. It’s definitely on and the ringer is active (it still has plenty of battery left)..
I actually thought about picking up one of those glowing keychains that light up when they sense your phone's signal, just so I could call it and follow the light around the house. But honestly, none of those trinkets I saw at the local Dollar Tree actually worked.😢
Does anyone have any suggestions on where else I might find one of those trackers, or maybe a better way to hunt this thing down?🙂
(I am positive I just dropped it somewhere inside the apartment)

Here’s what crossed my mind: grab an extension cord, plug in a radio, turn it on, but keep the volume low so you don't drive the neighbors crazy. Call your phone from another line and walk through the rooms. You should be able to hear that weird electronic interference or buzzing getting louder on the radio whenever you get close to the phone. The more the radio crackles, the closer you are.
If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

Thanks🙂
I'll give that a shot.

She could try turning off every single light in the house and making the room pitch black, then call from a landline. If she’s lucky, she might catch a glimpse of the screen glowing somewhere.

But honestly? I bet the phone is just sitting in a jacket or pants pocket somewhere.

So my bestie totally left her phone tucked away in a bathrobe pocket and didn't even realize it was gone until two whole weeks later... which is why... go ahead and throw your money into the search fund 👍
