I suppose that might have caused some confusion. I guess there's a question about what actually happens if two drivers end up tied on points at the conclusion of the race. It seems a race win isn't officially counted as a race Win unless at least 75% of the laps have been completed.

Is the race still going on?

Coulthard mentions that Jaako is performing well. I suppose I can't quite put into words how much CBS has improved the broadcasts compared to those chaotic ones we used to see on NBC in recent years.

It appears they are just reporting that all of the drivers have reached an agreement regarding the decision to stop the race.

The FIA has instructed the drivers to prepare for the resumption of the race. It seems they are attempting to restart under the safety car to complete an additional 12 laps, which I suppose would allow them to award full points. There is also some rain expected, so it’s possible the race won't reach its full scheduled distance.
