How can I stop this specific page from launching every single time I open the forum? Now it’s even popping up while I'm browsing other sites too.

I tried blocking cookies—which usually does the trick—but the page still keeps opening. Every time I click on it, I get stuck in this endless loop.🤔

Just toss the server name into your hosts file and you won't even see it anymore. Honestly, it’s probably more effective than any ad-blocker out there.

Honestly, you can scrub away most of that browser junk pretty easily using AdwCleaner.

Yeah, I've got Adblock Plus installed.

I installed it, but it didn't fix the issue.

I’m not quite sure how to handle this—I've been running Windows 10 on my American system.🤷

Whenever I get my hands on a PC that’s acting up like that, I just go full scorched earth. I'll run my antivirus, hit it with Malwarebytes, then throw AdwCleaner at it just to be safe. If things still feel wonky, I’ll dive deep into the browser extensions and plugins. It’s crazy how easy it is for someone to accidentally install some junk, so I always make sure to double-check the startup list and everything sitting in the installed programs menu too...

Did you try checking it with a different browser?

Which one? I haven't tried that yet.

Does this have anything to do with what you told me earlier?

...honestly, I’ve been struggling with your post from the jump because I can't make out a single thing in those screenshots. I'm basically just taking wild guesses at what you're seeing 😢
. If you could just upload them in a higher resolution, it would be way easier to actually spot whatever issue you're dealing with...

Alright, give me a second—I'll upload a higher resolution version now.👍

So, I installed Avira yesterday—and now it keeps popping up like some kind of search engine redirect...😵

I went ahead and completely wiped Avira from my system—just left Malwarebytes running for now.🙂

First, just pop open the Command Prompt as an admin, head over to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc, and pull up the hosts file. I guess you could just use Notepad or whatever.

Throw this line in there:

127.0.0.1 driftcasino.com

Or maybe you should also add

127.0.0.1 www.driftcasino.com
