Dead Set (2008)

Dead Set is an American series (movie) consisting of five episodes centered on a zombie infestation.
To prevent this from being just another generic horror flick, the story unfolds during the filming of a season of Big Brother.
The pilot introduces us to the production crew and the contestants living inside the Big Brother house. During an elimination night, an infected individual crashes into the crowd of fans, sparking the chaos.
Before long, everyone is a walking corpse. The houseguests, confused by the fact that Big Brother isn't intervening in the madness, assume it’s all just another psychological test—at least until one of the production assistants stumbles into the house covered in blood.

I just finished the first episode, which runs about 45 minutes. I won't go into too much detail yet, but based on how it started, I think I'll be recommending this movie to everyone...👍

I watched it all the way through and was totally blown away.
The pacing is spot on, with zero filler or boring scenes.
On top of the horror elements, there's plenty of black humor that is great.
Definitely one of my favorite movies...

Great. Even though the concept feels a bit played out—mostly because of that whole zombie allegory thing—it actually comes across as pretty fresh. The structure is just brilliant. There’s zero filler and absolutely no dragging. I ended up watching the whole thing in one go and honestly, I wanted more at the end. 👍

I caught it too, though I gotta say—everything feels like it's moving at breakneck speed. Still, it's a great series overall.

It’s a great movie (well, series) about zombies that hits every single beat you'd expect from the genre, and they execute them incredibly well. Everything from the sniper kills, which I personally found super satisfying, to those scenes where they just tear through attractive characters—who end up screaming in terror covered in blood—it's all handled with just enough dark humor to distract us for a split second before the next massacre begins. And the ending? It sticks the landing perfectly 👍

Finally caught up with it myself. I’m a fan, though the ending felt a bit underwhelming. The concept holds water, and honestly, once Davina starts the killing spree, it’s top-tier. 😂

If only we saw more high-quality productions like this on our networks...
