Where are your roots from? (Where did your grandparents grow up?)

On my mother's side

My grandma Gabriella—an American woman—she used to live over in Savannah

And my grandpa Theodore - Mexican... man, he passed away during World War I, and honestly, nobody even knows where his grave is located anymore

Now, looking at my father's side

My grandma Greta - Canadian was actually born out in Boise

And my grandpa Roman, an American, they lived out in some little rural village tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains

Honestly, it’d be way more interesting if we were digging into great-grandparents or even deeper back into the family tree rather than just focusing on immediate relatives. My whole lineage traces back to the Midwest, so tracking my roots wasn't exactly a massive mystery ☕

I don't really know how to start this one—it’s kind of a mess in my head—but I was just sitting here thinking about how everything feels so incredibly loud lately. You know that feeling?
