Hey everyone, just got back from seeing my physiatrist, and he handed me this list of prescriptions/orders:

DDS paracervical
SG left shoulder-ache
MG for C-B

Does anyone actually know what this means? I’m trying to figure out what I’m walking into here. 🙂 I tried digging around online, but honestly, I didn't find anything helpful.

DDS - direct current stimulation
SG - this would be descending galvanization—essentially the same thing, just a different type of current
MG - medical gymnastics

It sounds like a textbook case of cervicobrachial syndrome, where that pain starts in the cervical spine and radiates all the way down the arms. Good luck with the therapy sessions!...

It’s clearly cervical brachial syndrome—that pain that starts at the neck vertebrae and shoots down into your arms. Good luck with the physical therapy!

Thanks, really appreciate it 🙂

Actually, since it's spreading toward my left arm, the shoulder and the area near my shoulder blade are killing me. Sometimes my head hurts too, and I even feel a bit unsteady. Every other test result came back normal, except for an old X-ray of my neck that showed early stages of osteochondrosis and a flattened cervical curve... but the newer scan doesn't mention the osteochondrosis anymore... honestly, who knows. Hopefully, these treatments actually do something...
