I'm having an issue... I started being sexually active about a month and a half ago, and at first, it was really painful. After a few times, though, the pain started getting lighter and lighter. Now, it still hurts for a split second every single time we start—like right when he first enters—but what’s bothering me is that sometimes, depending on the position, it feels like he just shouldn't be there,🙂 almost like he's pushing against my other organs. It’s this pressure that turns into actual pain... I've noticed it helps if I empty my bladder before we have sex, but it still bothers me. For example, doggy style hurts like crazy every time we try it. I don't know if this is normal, if it'll eventually stop, or if something is actually wrong and I should go see a gynecologist?

Look, it’s right there in the rules... if someone knows how to handle a tampon or use a menstrual cup, they’re more than capable of making an appointment with a gynecologist or picking up supplies at a CVS... ☕

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to schedule an appointment with your gynecologist, if only to have them run through the standard checks and make sure everything is actually where it should be...
I dealt with frequent ovarian inflammation early on, and I definitely recognize that specific type of pain you’re describing... eventually, both the discomfort and the infections just seemed to subside on their own over time.

I honestly think she just ran straight into a total idiot.

The guy just doesn't know when to quit...

Patrick Brown7 said:If you look closely at the rules posted here, there’s a certain logic to it—it’s essentially saying that if someone is capable of handling their own personal care or managing things like a tampon, they should be perfectly capable of making a trip to the gynecologist or picking up a prescription at a CVS without any issues. ☕

It’s honestly just pure ignorance, isn't it? Avoiding a doctor when you're dealing with actual pain during intimacy is nothing short of primitive.☕

I mean, it’s pretty normal when you’re just starting out sexually... but if the pain keeps happening for a long time, then maybe it isn't great. It can hurt a bit during penetration because, I guess, you might not be lubricated enough or maybe it's just an awkward angle... but that usually only happens right at the start (and even then, it shouldn't happen all the time). I don't think you should worry too much yet, since I remember having some pain when I first started, too... though I suppose your partner plays a big role in this, too. Maybe you aren't quite relaxed enough? Because if you were, you probably wouldn't be constantly worrying about where his penis is actually located 😉

It’s better if this ends up in the Health section rather than somewhere else...

So, when I'm properly lubricated, there's zero pain. It's rare, but if things aren't quite ready, it can sting... and then I just end up stuck in my own head, subconsciously waiting for that pain to hit again. I'm totally fine with seeing a doctor if I need to, but I just wanted to see if anyone else relates. Is this normal when you're starting out? I'm pretty sure I'm healthy, maybe I just need more practice.🙂
