So, I’m looking at this particular cabinet here.

The idea is to strip everything out of the PC case and relocate all the components onto the top shelf of this unit, while keeping the router and all the cabling tucked away on the bottom shelf.

My main concern is thermal management. Do you think one 120mm intake fan on the side and one 120mm exhaust fan at the back would provide enough airflow?

From what I’ve gathered through some digging online, people have pulled off similar setups with decent results, but I was wondering if anyone here has tried something like this locally? 🙂 Since the cabinet will be fully enclosed, it'll essentially function as my computer chassis, powered by just those two fans.

Here are the specs:
AMD A8-5600K
LC-CC-95 cooler
ASRock FM2A75M-DGS
2x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600 MHz RAM
Radeon R7 250 1GB DDR5
500 GB HDD + 120 GB SSD
Chieftec GPS 450 AA

Here is a tutorial showing how this guy pulled it off. That said, I’d probably skip the case entirely—wouldn't the cooling be better without it?

I’m no professional modder, but you definitely need to cut an opening for the power supply exhaust—don't go suffocating it inside there if the back is sealed up. As for everything else, if you have the clearance for the components, then you're good to go. It's pretty straightforward. You also can't forget the cutout for the motherboard I/O ports. Some people just slap their parts onto a random scrap of plywood, which wouldn't even work in a standard PC case, let alone a custom enclosure like this.

I'll give it some more thought. If I decide to go through with it, I'll post the photos so you can see how they turned out.
