Tablet storage issues

So, how do I actually "increase" my tablet's memory—like, by moving apps over to an SD card?

I've only got 1GB of internal storage, which obviously filled up after just 4 or 5 apps, so now I can't download anything new without deleting stuff first. Meanwhile, I have this 5GB card just sitting there doing absolutely nothing. I managed to move one thing over, but for all my other apps, that option just isn't there.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Honestly, I’m not exactly a tech expert, but maybe someone a bit more savvy could help me get this sorted out? 🤷

Thanks, but I’ve actually tried using that app before and it didn't really help. 🤷
It just showed me which apps I could move to the SD card (which I had already done anyway), but all those other ones that came pre-installed on the tablet just won't budge. So, my internal storage is still completely full.

I mean, I don't need some fancy specialized software or massive amounts of space; honestly, even a 5GB card would be more than enough for me. But is it possible that there's just no way to fix this at all? 🙄

And yeah, it's an Android device running KitKat.

Is that tablet rooted? Honestly, that might be exactly where the trouble is starting. A while back, those apps definitely needed root access to work properly, but I'm pretty sure the newer versions don't require it anymore. As for those pre-installed apps that came with the device—you probably won't be able to move them over, though you should technically be able to uninstall them if you really don't need them (just make sure you do your homework first!) provided the tablet is rooted.
