My uncle lives out in Knoxville, and he’s in really bad shape. It’s a mental health issue, and he can’t even hold down a job. He’s dropped about 90 pounds—he's basically skin and bones at this point. It's pretty grim. The problem is, he’s got nobody to look after him. Does anyone know of a decent mental health facility in the States? I'm not just looking for any clinic; I need somewhere with actual rehab programs and a solid care system for patients. Sorry if my English is a little off, I haven't lived in the US for a long time and I'm starting to lose my grip on the language.

It really depends on the specific illness and how it progresses; they might be transferred to a psychiatric ward, a long-term care facility, or perhaps a specialized nursing home... one specifically designed for mental health patients

Is there any way to get his paperwork sorted so he can move out? The state of geriatric psychiatry here in the US is such a disaster that you'll just 🤮😱
