Alright, maybe I exaggerated—let’s say a 220 lb guy is more like a 175 lb woman.

You claim you're 175? You're still a girl (meaning less muscle mass). Basically, the math says you're soft all over. If you'll admit it, at 175 and 5'6", you aren't just "a little curvy"—you're straight-up thick (especially without clothes).

And as for whether guys are into it or not? I don't doubt it for a second. Plenty of dudes dig that look.

p.s. As long as you keep listening to advice like "try Pilates, do some yoga, or hop on the stepper for 10 minutes without breaking a sweat," you're gonna stay exactly like this. That one donut you eat will go straight to your hips every single time.

I also agree that looks aren't everything, but they're a massive factor. Otherwise, you wouldn't be trying so hard to shed the extra layers.

Anyway, I'm done dumping my unsolicited advice on you. I'll leave you to your "professional trainer" and your brain—which seems to be in the same condition as your body (coming from me, that would be a compliment; from you... well, you know).

Jesus, what kind of life are you living??? 😕😕 😕
What happened? Did some fat girl break your heart? Or did the big guys bully you back in middle school? What gives?

What a joke. Honestly, he’s just picking and choosing whatever bits from my post fit his little narrative. He seems pretty wound up too—maybe all that stress is finally getting to him. I guess you can't teach old dogs new tricks when it comes to basic manners. 😁

@quietpilot87/">@@quietpilot87 - It feels like there’s always one person losing their mind on every single thread. Looks like we found our local resident weirdo.

Don't be stingy! Just pay the guy, the owner and coach, to build a program specifically for YOU. Something precise, super detailed, with full explanations of the how and why behind everything.

What you're doing right now just isn't cutting it. It’s not exactly a waste of time, but it’s getting pretty close.

Hmm, well, that’s actually exactly what he does. Everyone at the gym has their own unique routine.
Some people wander around the gym clutching a massive stack of papers with lists of exercises for every single machine. 😁
But me? I just show up, sit down in his office, tell him what's going on, and he puts me through my paces on the stepper, checks my heart rate, and writes everything down.
He updates my plan roughly every two weeks.

This is my favorite part...
Watching everyone at the gym lugging around stacks of paperwork and looking like they’re about to sit for a fluid mechanics final... 🤣

Your workout should be simple, fun, and low-stress (mentally speaking).
Sometimes I even stop counting sets and reps altogether.
I just go by feel.
Other times, if I'm really not feeling a specific routine, I'll just skip it and do whatever I'm in the mood for that day.
Or I'll just throw together a quick circuit...

Fitness isn't nuclear physics!
It's basically just a modern version of chopping wood, digging trenches around a castle, or—if you want to get fancy—playing a game of shoulder stones. 😁

Don't fluids fall under the category of dynamics rather than just mechanics?

They claim to have... 😁
but honestly, it's all the same crap. 😉

Honestly, who cares? He actually gave some decent advice before he started letting his frustration bleed through😁
It's a šteta.

I KNOW exactly why I’m seeing zero progress here. It turns out I’ve drifted into this cursed plateau where I’m just going through the motions without any actual grit, and now—per my own poor judgment—I’m supposed to suddenly become a master of nutrition. But let’s be perfectly honest: I simply cannot, and quite frankly, will not, strip my life of everything that actually tastes good. Life is far too short for bland food. So, how on earth does one break out of a rut like this?

They involve both.😉

Actually... statics, dynamics, and all that fun stuff fall under mechanics. (If I'm remembering right... 😳)

I mean, speaking from my own experience, I’m hitting the gym five days a week for about an hour and a half at a time with a pretty balanced routine—nothing ridiculous where I'm just ego-lifting massive weights for show—and since I completely overhauled my diet, the results are actually showing up... my pants are finally starting to slide right off me. 😁

True... it just happens when you run into someone who really gets your blood pumping. 😉
