Is anyone else feeling sick? There's a bug going around town.

Hey, caught a bug. Fever hitting 100.4, head's spinning... totally wiped out. How long does this usually last on average? I know plenty of people were already on antibiotics before me, but I'm not taking anything. Just wondering how this thing plays out... throat started scratchy on Thursday, by Friday I couldn't even talk and had a mild fever, then Saturday it spiked to 100.4 and now the dizziness kicked in. Honestly, hoping I'm still sick enough by Monday to call out of work ;-)

What’ve you guys been through?

Last weekend, I hit a fever of 100 degrees, and my throat started feeling all scratchy and raw.
Since then, I’ve been dealing with a runny nose for a full week now, and that’s really it.

If this turns out to be some viral bug, there isn't much to do besides staying in bed, resting up, and basically drowning myself in Vitamin C and hot tea.

That’s basically what I was thinking. My husband spent the whole weekend playing nurse, and tomorrow I’ll probably be feeling fine enough to actually hit the office :-) Some kind of horoscope nonsense, I guess

Feeling a tiny bit better today. Instead of burning through ten packs of tissues, I’ll probably only need seven 😁 And tomorrow? Maybe just two. RIP me

Gotta admit, it’s been a minute since I’ve been this sick. I even know exactly who gave me this bug and when 😁😁😁😁 Haven't had those dizzy spells in a while... though I was being stubborn and avoiding everything except Advil, figured I'd let my body toughen up a bit, right? 👍 Okay, lie, I took some Advil and Neo-Angin for my throat because it's killing me... but nothing like Tylenol or heavy stuff, because that just drags the sickness out... then it hits you again ten days later... seriously people, just stay in bed, drink tea, and stop throwing money at useless pharmacy crap 👍

People... I don't know what kind of virus this is, but this one is the real deal. It’s been hitting me hard for ten days straight. Fever, coughing, congestion, earaches, headaches, muscle aches... I went through an entire pharmacy's worth of medication. The symptoms have finally subsided, but I'm still stuck in bed because I am completely wiped out. A lot of people are dealing with this crap, and for everyone, it lasts well over ten days.

I suppose it’s my turn to check in and report that I have finally succumbed to illness😢
My throat is aching, and my entire body feels quite heavy and sore...😢

Day four for me and I'm finally turning a corner. Kinda sucks though, because it means I actually have to go back to work tomorrow. Really wish I could just coast through until 😁😁

But hey, if I wake up with a fever, I should probably skip the office and hit up a doctor instead, right?

Honestly, I’ve been killing it lately with clean eating and staying healthy, so I guess that’s why I'm bouncing back so fast. Used to be stuck in bed for like eight days every time I caught a sniffle. So, yeah... props to me. 👍👍

My head is absolutely pounding, I’m dizzy as hell, my throat feels like I swallowed sandpaper, my nose won't stop running, and I can't even taste a damn thing right now.. Seriously, I need to get my act together fast because I've got my first day back on the job tomorrow, for crying out loud!!😢
