Exactly... though I have to say, this latest news sounds incredibly watered down—I won't even use a harsher word for it, even by her usual standards.

We'll see how the full album turns out, but if we're judging strictly by the single, there isn't much to get excited about.

A while back, I picked up her greatest hits compilation, and it was a bit like eating cheap candy... it feels magical for those first few listens, but then the novelty wears off fast.
I've realized that while some of her albums are decent, others feel pretty lackluster. She’s an artist who carved out a very specific, signature sound and clung to it so tightly that she hasn't really evolved musically; instead, it feels like she's just recycling the same formula over and over again.
