Spots on the cervix?

Hey, I was hoping to hear from any women who’ve dealt with polyps on their uterus. I was doing my self-exams this morning to track my fertile window and felt a few tiny lumps—maybe two or three—right near the entrance on one side. Has anyone else experienced this? What ended up being the deal for you?😛

Maybe you just felt some small skin tags?

I don't know, I've never heard of anyone having warts on their cervix... Warts are usually a skin thing, related to pores or follicles, and that doesn't really apply to the cervix. Maybe I'm wrong. 🤷

So, I was just checking my fertility signs earlier, and I felt something rough—kind of like a few tiny little bumps. Gross. 😢 I have no idea why I’m even thinking about this now. My OBGYN gave me a clean bill of health back on August 26th, and since my regular doctor retired, they’ve just been cycling through these older doctors at the clinic. It feels awkward going back to them, especially since I was just there recently. So where did this come from? 😕

Could they be warts? 🤷

I'm not trying to freak you out, but my first thought right now is genital warts. Then again, I'm no doctor, so feel free to take this with a grain of salt. 🤷

If you notice the same thing popping up over the next few days, then yeah... I’d probably schedule a follow-up just for peace of mind.

Who knows, though? Google might have the answers. 🙂

Thanks so much, that’ll definitely help me get my facts straight. I’m planning on calling my other OB-GYN tomorrow to see when she can squeeze me in for an exam. Honestly, I just hope it turns out to be nothing... A few days before my period started, I had this weird spotting one afternoon. I actually went ahead and did a urine culture, but everything came back clear. Then my period hit—it lasted about two and a half days at the usual intensity, sort of a dark red color, and then just vanished. I even dealt with some nausea and stomach cramps, which made me wonder if I was pregnant since I had unprotected sex eight days before my cycle started during my fertile window, but the test was negative... It was probably just stress, or maybe from that light spotting. Thanks for checking in on me...🙂

Hey Sophia Castillo35, I just got back from my OBGYN appointment. So, that spotting issue finally cleared up, but then my doctor tells me there’s some free fluid around my right ovary. Apparently, it's the start of an ovarian infection. You see how it goes? You go in for one thing and end up discovering three others. I walked away with two boxes of Amoxicillin. That’s life for you. Honestly, I'm just glad I caught it when I did. It could have turned into something chronic, and I really don't need any issues with fertility down the road.🤣

Glad things worked out and you caught that inflammation before it got any worse 👍

It’s probably just some ovarian inflammation, I guess. You should probably see a gynecologist.
