Has anyone actually been to this festival yet? Curious what the vibe is like. Also, looking for overnight spots in Savannah for Friday night—nothing too crazy, just looking for something decent that isn't a five-star luxury hotel.

I made it out to the opening yesterday and ended up catching a couple of films while I was there. 😁

It was such a wonderful experience—honestly, if you have any free time, you really should head over there today or tomorrow. For this evening's program, they're showing the latest release from Bruce Lee!

I was there yesterday for the Bruce Lee tribute😂. The movies were alright, the concert was solid, we danced a bit.👍

I swung by yesterday and the day before, and honestly, it was a blast. Caught the last Bruce Lee movie among other things, and I have to say, it’s hilarious. 🙂 There were plenty of fun flicks too—personally, I think a trashy movie is better if it can actually make me laugh, but that's just my thing. The lectures were great. People in Savannah seem incredibly friendly, too. For instance, you stop someone to ask for directions and they act like you just made their entire day. You really feel welcomed everywhere you go. Even the shop clerks are almost aggressively polite. I didn't have time to hunt for a hotel, so we ended up staying at a Bed and Breakfast. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone; we paid for a single room like we were renting a luxury beachfront apartment in the middle of July. Anyway, that's my two cents.

So I finally made it out to Coachella... only caught the Saturday vibes, but honestly, the whole thing was top-tier. From the charm of Savannah to how well everything was run—the crew, the setup, even the awards ceremony was way more "extra" than I expected, haha👍👍👍
Anyway, I checked one thing off my bucket list... got to meet Christian Milic and we just talked shop about pretty much everything (mostly movies, lol), so no regrets on my end👍😁

Anyone go last year? Thinking about heading out if this one actually happens... What movies did you catch from the trash fest? Any thoughts? Is the whole thing still legit or just some niche hobby for a handful of horror nerds? How was the quality of the indie flicks, both local and foreign? Thanks.
