So, I’m 13. When I was 12, I had to have surgery because of this cyst filled with blood and fluid. It was growing and basically wrapping itself around my ovary, so they ended up taking out my entire right ovary and fallopian tube. My period started at 12 and a half, and everything seemed fine until now. I take care of my hygiene and haven't been sexually active, but I recently felt some pain in my vaginal area and noticed a swelling on the left side of my labia majora—it feels like a pimple. I went to my gynecologist three months ago and everything checked out fine back then.
...I'm trying to figure out what this could be and if I need to head back to the doctor. Could it really just be a pimple? And does any of this have anything to do with my previous surgery?...
