Question: Can anyone offer some advice?
1. I’m dealing with constant abdominal pain in my lower pelvic region. My ovaries are acting up so sporadically and intensely that I’m forced to rely on painkillers just to get through the day.
2. I’ve been on Yasmin / Diane for 10 years now to manage PCOS. There’s zero improvement with the cysts (though it did help clear up my acne and unwanted hair), and if I ever stop taking them, my period completely vanishes.
3. My prolactin levels are high, but I don't have any pituitary tumors (I had surgery for one 10 years ago) and my thyroid is perfectly fine.
4. I have discharge that changes color and consistency daily, accompanied by a terrible odor—it is honestly so frustrating and gross. To make matters worse, every single STI test comes back negative. I’ve done all the work, including getting Pap smears every few months.
5. My libido has basically vanished, which is bizarre considering how high-drive I usually am!

...and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
How am I supposed to fix this when even the gynecologists can't seem to help me??

1. I get daily abdominal pain in my lower region. My ovaries are acting up constantly, switching between different types of intense pain—it gets so bad I’m forced to take painkillers just to function.
2. I've been on Yasmin / Diane for 10 years now to manage PCOS. There's zero improvement (aside from finally clearing up my acne and excess hair issues), and if I ever stop taking them, my period just disappears entirely.
3. My Prolactin levels are high, even though I don't have any pituitary tumors (I had surgery for one about 10 years ago) and my thyroid is perfectly fine.
4. I have discharge that changes color and consistency every single day, plus a really unpleasant odor (honestly, it's so frustrating and gross!!!). To make matters worse, I haven't tested positive for a single STI; I've done every test imaginable, including getting Pap smears every few months.
5. I've almost completely lost my libido, which is incredibly weird given what my actual temperament is like!

...and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
How am I supposed to help myself when the gynecologists can't figure anything out??

Are you absolutely sure it isn't endometriosis (given how much pain you're in) or maybe Chlamydia or some other kind of bacterial infection? (Especially since you mentioned that unpleasant odor).

A decline in libido can quite reasonably be attributed to the use of birth control pills

Seriously, why are you doing this to yourself? You're going to end up with a ban and won't be able to post on the forum anymore. If anyone actually cares, they'll find your thread on their own without you begging.🙄

casualhound10, you've already started a thread for this, so just let people chime in with their thoughts here.

Thanks!

👎😕I’m dealing with much of the same—it’s been an exhausting cycle, really—and after cycling through every specialist imaginable and even undergoing a laparoscopy (which, thankfully, definitively ruled out endometriosis), I find myself back at square one. Now, I’m left hoping to find some semblance of clarity by seeking out similar experiences and advice here on this forum...
