I stumbled upon this thread a few months back, but I can't find it anywhere, so I'm asking again. During sex, I get this overwhelming sensation that I’m about to pee, even though my bladder feels completely empty. I can't seem to relax because I'm too busy worrying about making a mess. If anyone knows why this happens, please let me know—it’s definitely not a pleasant feeling. 🤷

Hm, honestly, I’ve been wondering about this too. I thought I was the only one losing sleep over it... It’s such a weird sensation, I can't even put my finger on it. Definitely curious to see what everyone else thinks. :-)

This topic has been posted a million times on this forum already...

Aunt May will tell you again... it’s not about bladder control, it’s just that feeling right before you peak... just relax. If things get messy, just hop in the tub or grab a towel... honestly, who cares? So what if you pee a little, it's not the end of the world...

You aren't going to lose control of your bladder; you're just going to have an incredible orgasm. Don't panic.😉

Honestly, I deal with something pretty similar about 80% of the time. I’m hyper-aware of my bladder, especially after sex, and I recently read that I probably fall into that unlucky group that picks up UTIs during intercourse. Basically, I spend a few days regretting having sex at all because it just hurts. It’s one of those silly things they used to call—I can't recall the exact term—something like "honeymoon disease," which apparently happened back in the day when virgins were having sex for the first time in marriage. I don't know the specifics, but I caught the gist, 😲 though if you ask me, it's more like this: I have a sensitive bladder and a chronic infection that never truly clears up, so I’m constantly catching something. We all know how it goes; everything is just wide open down there.

I’m right there with you—that sensation usually hits right before the finish line. In the past, I’d tense up every single time because I was terrified of having an accident, which totally killed the vibe. Now that I’ve actually learned how to just let go, I don't even notice the urge until after the fact, and of course, I get to enjoy the orgasm. The real trick is just figuring out how to stop overthinking and actually relax when your brain is telling you that you're about to pee.

Yeah, the feeling is similar. I used to have bladder issues where I genuinely thought I was gonna pee myself, so isn't what you're describing a little different from that?

I’ve never actually had an issue with urination, but the pain was there. Afterward, I dealt with this constant bloating in my abdomen. It took me way too long to realize it was linked to sex, mostly because I deal with stomach issues all the time and bloating just felt like my "normal."

I read this somewhere ages ago online—basically, they said pressure on the G-spot pushes against your bladder, which is why you suddenly feel like you gotta hit the restroom.

mh 🤷 I occasionally experience that same hesitation, and it just brings everything to a standstill
but other times, the feeling isn't there, so I end up reaching a climax anyway 🤷

Honestly, I totally get what you mean—it happens to me too. But the weirdest part is that intense feeling where you’re convinced you're about to have an accident, even though deep down you know you actually can't go... which, I guess, is pretty normal? Like, for me, right after an orgasm, I can't just hop on the toilet immediately; I definitely have to wait a little bit before I can actually pee. 🙂

Hey, can someone please help me out here? I'm kind of stuck...
So, my last time having sex was back on January 9th—and just to be clear, I actually had my period from the 3rd through the 7th. We were active during those few days, but we were using condoms, so... yeah.
Look, I should probably mention—and I mean this seriously—that we were using condoms the whole time. And just to be clear, he never actually finished inside her; he always waited until after he took the damn thing off.
But honestly, now I’m starting to get a little worried about a few things—and I mean, I don't want to sound like a total alarmist or anything, but there are some things here that just aren't sitting right with me.
So, I’ve been dealing with this constant, annoying need to run to the bathroom—like, all the time—and it’s always just these tiny little amounts of urine. Plus, there's this stinging sensation right at the end when I'm finished. Honestly, it's getting pretty old.
Maybe it’s just because we were going at it every single day—and before that, we hadn't really done much for a few months since we were stuck in a long-distance thing? I guess that kind of shift could definitely play a role.
So, I noticed a little bit of blood—kind of like it was diluted in my urine—when I went to the bathroom earlier, and honestly, it’s got me feeling pretty anxious. I did some digging online, though, and I read that it could just be from overexertion... and since I was basically running marathons all day yesterday, maybe that's what did it? I guess it's possible, but still, it's a bit unsettling.
I really need some help here...

P.S. Also, once summer wrapped up, I was basically glued to the bathroom—like, I had to go constantly, but only ended up passing tiny amounts at a time. It came with this annoying little stinging sensation too, which kept happening right up until my period finally showed up, though that was running pretty late for a while.
Thanks!

The last time we had sex was January 9th. My period ran from January 3rd to the 7th (we were active during that window, but we used condoms)
I should mention we used protection, and he never even finished inside—always after taking it off.
But now, a few things are starting to worry me.
I’m having to run to the bathroom constantly, just passing tiny amounts of urine, and there's this stinging sensation at the end.
Could this be because we’ve been having sex every day? We hadn't been active for months before this since we're in a long-distance relationship.
Today, I noticed a little blood—just diluted in my urine when I went—which is also worrying. I read online that it could be from overexertion; I was walking around a lot yesterday, so maybe that's it?
Please help...

P.S. Also, after summer ended, I had the same thing—going to the bathroom all the time, small amounts, and that stinging feeling. It lasted until my period arrived, which was actually late this time.
Thanks!

I don't think it has anything to do with physical exertion. I went through the exact same thing. The pain was brutal, and I felt like I was barely passing a couple of drops, plus a bit of blood.
It sounds like a UTI. When mine wasn't too bad, I just stuck to cranberry juice, but once the blood showed up, I had to get antibiotics because the juice wasn't cutting it anymore..
Basically, it's an infection. You need to drink as much liquid as possible, even if it hurts, just to flush those bugs out of your system as fast as you can..
Antibiotics are the last resort.☕

Try squatting in the tub or the shower—get yourself nice and worked up, then just stick a finger in there and massage that area toward your belly button, maybe about an inch or two deep. Just do whatever movements feel right, and pretty soon you'll get that "need to go" sensation again—but trust me, no matter how hard you try, you won't actually be able to pee. 😉
Once you figure that out, you won't be sitting there terrified of ruining your sheets anymore. 🤣
It took me forever to finally get the hang of it, but now I'm getting much closer to hitting those peaks. 😁
