I won't clutter the title with everything—here's the rundown: headaches, fainting spells, sudden mood swings, and light sensitivity (which usually triggers the headaches)—plus occasional nausea, some dull joint aches (barely noticeable), and muscle sensitivity where any real exertion leads to inflammation.

At first, I figured it might just be low blood pressure, but lately, I've been dealing with symptoms that don't really fit that profile—or at least, that's how it feels to me; if anyone has an idea of what this could be... or even just a hint of which specialist I should book an appointment with, I'd really appreciate it.
By the way, this whole thing has been going on for about two years, maybe a little less...
If you need more details, just ask!

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Lately, my libido has also taken a hit, so... I'm not sure if that's connected 😁

look... I wouldn't have put up with symptoms like that for even a single week without seeing my primary care doctor. But you actually managed to drag it out for two whole years! What is wrong with you?
No offense intended, but... seriously, go see your doctor. They'll know what the next steps should be.
Take care.

Man... she actually told me I should probably drink more water. :|
And she really needs a medical degree just to tell me that??
I definitely need some expert advice at this point—I'm just not sure who to turn to yet...

It’s been the exact same symptoms for about three years now—I feel like I've seen a million doctors and gone through three million tests 🙂 yet the issues just keep cycling between being manageable and downright brutal. At this point, I’m mostly just putting my faith in God and searching for an answer. The main issue with most doctors is that once the clinical results come back looking normal, they basically run out of ideas—unless, of course, they decide to pivot toward mental health issues, which seems to be their default fallback when they can't figure out what else to say.

There are quite a few possibilities here, so you really need to take an elimination approach. Start with a thorough medical history and physical exam, then move on to blood work... It could be anything from anemia or fibromyalgia to depression or a thyroid issue. Have you dealt with any health conditions in the past?

I’m not sure... my only real health issue was asthmatic bronchitis, but that cleared up when I was about 7 or 8—we moved from New York City to St. Louis, which changed everything for me.
I've already had my thyroid checked out, and they didn't find anything unusual.
I doubt it's anemia since my blood work always looks perfect. As for depression... I don't think that's it either—though, if you consider my chronic insomnia, maybe there's a connection there...
And this whole thing about F, I have no clue what that means 😁
Honestly... who am I even supposed to turn to for help? 🤷

Essentially, you'll start with your primary care physician, and only after they've narrowed down a diagnosis will they refer you to any specialists. It’s hard for me to say exactly when that happens without seeing all the medical records held by your primary doctor during the referral process.

Oh boy, here we go again.
I seriously need to find a new doctor—this one clearly forgot why she even went to med school in the first place...
Anyway, thanks!

He and I have already signed our pact.
We aren't bothering each other at all—neither one of us.

Anyway, I'm honestly just glad to find someone else with the same symptoms; it makes things feel a little less lonely...

Oh, I meant to ask you... are you maybe more on the thinner side?
